Facility provides same-day appointments and multidisciplinary team-based medical care 7 days a week.
VANCOUVER, B.C. — MLA Adrian Dix cut the ribbon on the Renfrew-Collingwood Urgent and Primary Care Centre (UPCC), bringing expanded team-based care to East Vancouver.
The clinic is staffed with family physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and social workers to relieve pressure on hospital emergency rooms.
"This new centre gives local families fast, quality healthcare right in their neighborhood," Dix said.
The facility operates 365 days a year from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. for walk-in and booked urgent appointments.
