VANCOUVER, B.C. — Premier David Eby joined federal Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland to announce a joint $300 million Clean Tech Acceleration Fund designed to scale domestic green technology manufacturing across Western Canada.

The program will match private capital investments in clean hydrogen production, next-generation battery components, and direct-air carbon capture systems.
"By partnering with British Columbia, we are creating high-paying skilled trade jobs and cementing Canada as a global clean energy powerhouse," Freeland stated in Vancouver.
Provincial CleanBC Synergy
Premier Eby noted that the fund directly complements British Columbia's CleanBC climate accountability roadmap.
