LANGLEY, B.C. — Premier David Eby and regional mayors celebrated the installation of the first concrete guideway column for the Surrey-Langley SkyTrain extension.
Connecting South of Fraser
The extension will link Surrey City Centre to Langley City Centre in 22 minutes, eliminating thousands of vehicle trips daily from regional highways.
"This historic transit line is taking shape, connecting families, businesses, and post-secondary institutions south of the Fraser," Premier Eby said.
Station Area Planning
New transit villages with integrated affordable housing and commercial services are planned around all eight new stations.
