State awards $60M to robotics and aerospace suppliers in Pittsburgh and the Lehigh Valley.
PITTSBURGH, Pa. — Governor Josh Shapiro visited an advanced robotics fabrication plant in Pittsburgh to announce $60 million in state industrial development grants.
The investments match private capital expansions in precision machining, medical device manufacturing, and industrial automation.
"Pennsylvania has a proud manufacturing heritage, and we are making sure our commonwealth leads the world in advanced technology and robotics," Governor Shapiro stated.
The program is part of Pennsylvania's ten-year economic development strategy approved by state lawmakers.
