ALBANY, N.Y. — Governor Kathy Hochul officially launched the New York Energy Storage Technology Hub at the Albany Nanotech Complex, cementing the Capital Region as a national hub for battery commercialization.
Accelerating the Clean Energy Transition
The research facility provides startup incubators and testing chambers for next-generation solid-state batteries and high-efficiency grid inverters.
"New York is leading the nation into the clean energy future by investing in the groundbreaking technologies created by our top scientists," Governor Hochul stated.
Workforce Training
SUNY institutions across upstate New York will partner with the hub to train technicians for high-demand clean manufacturing jobs.
