VANCOUVER, B.C. — Mayor Ken Sim and Vancouver City Council approved an updated master plan for False Creek Flats, designating over 3 million square feet for life sciences and quantum computing research.
"Vancouver is open for global innovation," Sim stated. "We are eliminating months of bureaucratic zoning reviews so top companies can build high-paying jobs in our downtown core."
The development will feature district heating connectivity and direct access to the Broadway Subway line.
