CHARLESTON, S.C. — U.S. Representative Nancy Mace joined South Carolina Ports Authority officials at the Wando Welch Terminal to review record shipping volumes resulting from the 52-foot harbor deepening project.

The deep-water navigation channel enables the world's largest container vessels to transit fully loaded without tidal restrictions.
