SURREY, B.C. — Councillor Rob Stutt, chair of the Public Safety Committee, confirmed expanded funding for trauma counseling and mental health services for Surrey Fire Service personnel.
"Our first responders see challenging situations every day. We must ensure they have comprehensive mental health support throughout their careers," Stutt stated.
The initiative was developed in close collaboration with the Surrey Fire Fighters' Association.
