SURREY, B.C. — Surrey Newton Member of Parliament Sukh Dhaliwal announced a $15-million federal Housing Accelerator investment to build affordable non-profit housing near transit hubs.
"By partnering directly with community non-profits, we are ensuring working families have stable, dignified, affordable housing in Surrey Newton," Dhaliwal said.
The developments will meet net-zero carbon standards, keeping utility bills low for tenants.
